Welcome to Kids Pick Up STEAM! My name is Jamie and I’m the creator of this blog. I have a Masters degree in Biochemistry and over 10 years of experience in the biotech field, and have been passionate about science and STEAM education since I was young. Now I have children of my own and I love watching their curiosity grow as they explore the world.

 

I created this blog to help other parents engage their kids in STEAM and learn how to think like a scientist. I post a variety of activities and experiments that are easy to do with kids of all ages. I want to show parents and kids how fun and exciting STEAM can be!
